The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution is a water-based exfoliating serum formulated with 2% salicylic acid (BHA) for acne-prone skin. It helps exfoliate the skin’s surface, improve the appearance of blemishes and congestion, and promote a smoother-looking complexion. This targeted formula is designed for skin concerns associated with clogged pores and visible breakouts.
Cleanse the skin thoroughly before application. For new users, apply to a small area once daily for three days to test sensitivity. If no discomfort occurs, apply a thin layer to the affected area, starting once daily and increasing to two or three times daily if needed. Reduce use if dryness or peeling occurs.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs. Ask a doctor before use if you have severe acne. Using other topical acne treatments at the same time may increase irritation and dryness. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation occurs or if there is no improvement after 6–8 weeks. Keep out of reach of children.
