Its benzoyl peroxide formula helps target acne-causing bacteria and cleanse acne-prone areas, including the face, chest and back. The manufacturer also notes that the formula contains moisturizers to help combat dryness.
With its maximum-strength 10% Benzoyl Peroxide formulation, PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash is suitable for customers looking for a targeted acne-treatment cleanser.
1. Wet the area to be cleansed.
2. Apply the wash and gently massage into the skin for 1–2 minutes.
3. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
4. Start with one application daily. Gradually increase to twice daily if needed or as directed by a dermatologist.
5. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce use to once daily or every other day.
- For external use only.
- Do not use if you have very sensitive skin or are sensitive to Benzoyl Peroxide.
- Avoid contact with eyes, lips and mouth.
- Avoid contact with hair and dyed fabrics, as the product may cause bleaching.
- Skin irritation, dryness, redness, burning, itching, peeling or swelling may occur.
- Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use sunscreen.
- Using other topical acne treatments at the same time may increase irritation and dryness.
- Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation becomes severe.
- If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a healthcare professional before use.
- Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical help immediately.
